Trucks have played a major role in the success of Dodge, beginning with the Dodge Brothers first commercial vehicles in 1916. The post-World War II era was a time of innovations that included the Pilot House Cab, Truck-O-Matic transmission, Power Dome V-8, and Slant-Six.
